Winnebago for sale

Unfortunately our retirement plans have been put on hold, I am back at work for the next 6 years. This means that our home from home is up for sale. We have set Winnie up to suit our needs with no expense spared. We have used it as a 2 berth but it can sleep six and has belts etc to carry six legally. I have set her up to be able to tow my trailer sailer and allow us to be completely independent while traveling.
Standard features.
ISUZU 250 diesel, Automatic with O/drive, A/C cab, high and low loading switch (varies gear changing and exhaust braking for the load), the cab area has 3 seats with belts.
Living area -  reverse cycle A/C (Heron), gas HW storage system, a microwave oven, a 4 burner stove with oven and rangehood including monitoring system for gray water, black water and power. Double sink with hot and cold electric water pump, Toilet and shower room (toilet is a thetford cassette, with outside access door for easy maintenance). Outside shower hot and cold. Fridge with freezer compartment 12V - 240 V auto switching. Auto smart battery charging  when engine running and when you are connected to power. Double door wardrobe, plenty of cupboards for storage plus plenty of cupboards in the kitchen area. Externally accessed  compartment for 9kg Lp - gas cylinder, 3 large external lockable storage compartments, Separate starting batteries and deep cycle house batteries.
Sleeping - Double bed over the cab - bench seat which makes a single berth - drop down bunk for a single berth and the table can drop down to make another double berth 6 in all but very comfortable for 2.

Extras we have added to suit our needs.
Cruise control (not a standard feature on Winnebago's), Tinted windows in the cab and the living areas, (a must in the warmer areas), 10 ft portabote, a fold up dingy suitable to carry up to 4 people http://www.porta-bote.com/ with 3.5hp tohatsu outboard. (see the website and my own pictures to be able to appreciate this. It is locked onto the side of Winnie for easy access and assembly. 10 minutes to assemble and get onto the water, it is extremely stable, tough as nails and gets on the plane with a 3.5hp which runs on the smell of an oily rag. Winnie has a towbar under 2 large rear external bins where I keep the outboard locked away. I have towed my 28ft trailer sailer 6 berth yacht comfortably behind winnie from queensland. I had a tubocharger fitted to winnie to make sure there was adequate performance. It is a 7 psi afterfit which does not overstress the engine but ensures you can easily keep up with city traffic and maintain the speed limit on the open road if you are in a hurry. Towing is comfortable at 80 - 90 kph. On the front of Winnie we have fitted a high impact resistant smartbar for extra protection. It is very light and can be lifted on one finger but will withstand the impact of a roo without sustaining damage to the vehicle. These bars bend and absorb on impact and return to their shape afterwards. They are expensive but a perfect addition, they are made by team poly. Over the passenger side we have had an Ormistor 5500 fully sealed wind out awning fitted. This takes seconds to set up and when wound in is sealed making it fade and rot resistant. It looks good now and will stay that way. In the side bin under the awning I have fitted a slide out 3 burner stove with its own gas supply and fold out preparation side tables. A 4ft solid camping table folds up to slide in below the outside stove which still leaves most of the bin space available for storage. See photographs. Winnie has been fitted with a reversing camera which looks down onto the towbar. You can reverse to within millimetres safely. The standard battery compartment has been extensively modified and has 2 slide out battery trays. One has 2 new marine calcium 12 volt 720 Camps batteries for the 24 volt starting batteries. The house batteries are 4 x 100 amphr deep cycle batteries. Power while at rest is well covered with 4 x  65 watt solar panels. These are not the glass type and are quite suitable to take a knock from tree branches etc, they are also quite light and low profile. They run through a solar smatcharger which lets you know voltages and battery inputs over the last few days. Where the small rear window was I have fitted an evaporative A/C this covers times when parked away from power and noisy generators are taboo. It easily runs on part of the power from the solar panels, I have installed its own separate 60 litre water supply above the spare wheel, it could easily be used with river water or any other less pure source if required. On the hot day by the river it is a good way to keep your cool without the noise needed to run the reverse cycle unit. The batteries easily would keep it running all night if required. In the cab I have fitted an mp3 player and also increased the cab speakers with 2 in the upper document shelf near to where you can hear them. The mp3 player feeds to the rear living area as well it has a remote and will take sd cards usb sticks or cd's as its imput. Talking books on mp3 are a great way to travel I find. I have fitted a 40 channel uhf cb set above the driver. There is an electric brake controller fitted for towing. There is a clip[ on expanding clothes line for the side of winnie and a small wind the handle washing machine to cover the daily wash and rinse. I will even leave in the luxury folding camping chairs which reside in the rear lockup bins. There is an 1800 watt pure sine wave inverter fitted, with a remote which will allow you to run the microwave or a hair dryer without connecting to power. There is a 15 inch LCD tv with dvd player. There is a Garmin palm pilot which has gps covering city and country Australia and the USA as well as blue water charts for a boat. We had a custom made real latex mattress recently made and fitted to the bed over the cab, for comfort and cooler sleeping. The front tyres are good but used, the 4 rears are as new, recently fitted with new tubes and flaps.
Winnie drives very easily, the turbo helps it perform well. It turns tighter than our rav 4 for manouvering. The Auto gearbox with overdrive is great in the city and out. The turbodiesel is quite efficient and the fuel tank of 120 litres is adequate. Water storage is about 120 litres and 4 - 5 days between stops is an easy ask.
Winnie is a 1999 Isuzu 250 4 cylinder Auto turbodiesel 230,000 km. With all the extras mentioned above we are asking $85,000 she is registered and ready to roll, ready to drive anywhere. I have a large set of photographs showing all her features please take time to look over these on the next page and if you are interested or want more information please ring me Mike on 0488198022. The rl28 trailer sailer shown is not included in the price but if anyone were really interested in the combination I would be prepared to give a price.
